• Details of the waste, access conditions and any photographs you upload.
• Your booking history, collection dates and payment status.
• Basic technical information such as device type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

• To send booking confirmations, reminders and receipts.
• To meet our waste carrier record-keeping obligations.
• To respond to enquiries and resolve any issues.

Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, the service you are interested in, your message, your preferred contact method and your consent to be contacted. We use this only to answer your enquiry and to prepare a quote where one is requested.

Booking records include your collection address, the items and load size selected, access details, your chosen date and time, and the price calculated at the point of booking.

Card payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never seen or stored by Atlas Waste Co. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded together with a transaction reference. Stripe processes your data under its own privacy policy.

Photographs you upload during booking are used to confirm the volume of waste, the items involved and the access route. Please avoid including people, documents or anything else you would not want us to hold. Images are retained with the booking record and deleted in line with the retention periods below.

We keep a record of booking confirmations, reminders, receipts and any messages exchanged with you so that we can evidence what was agreed and resolve any issues.

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and how bookings are completed. This is used to improve the service and is not used to identify you personally.

We use the cookies and local storage needed to make the site and the booking journey work, such as remembering your progress through a booking. Any non-essential analytics cookies will only be set where the law requires your consent and you have given it.

We do not sell your data.

Booking and waste transfer records are kept for as long as required by waste-carrier and tax record-keeping rules. Enquiry messages are kept for up to two years. Uploaded photographs are kept with the booking record and removed once the retention period for that booking has passed.

Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or request portability. Email info@atlaswasteco.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
