Your duty of care
As the person producing the waste, you have a legal duty of care to make sure it is passed to an authorised person. If waste is fly-tipped after an unlicensed carrier removes it, the responsibility can come back to you. We recommend checking the registration of any waste carrier you use on the public register maintained by the Environment Agency.
What happens to your waste
Every collection is taken to a permitted waste transfer station where the load is sorted. Recyclable and recoverable materials are separated, and only the residual fraction goes for final disposal. We can provide waste transfer documentation for your collection on request.
Requesting documentation
Email info@atlaswasteco.co.uk with your booking reference and we will send your waste transfer note. Commercial customers who need documentation for every collection should let us know when booking.
